A delicate mill dyed grey with great stitch definition
This yarn is 100% ryeland wool from sheep that graze on the National park at Walkhampton. It has been wollen spun to make a bouncy, medium soft yarn that is good for outer garments and accessories such as hats, mittens and gloves. For most people, it is not usually suitable for wearing close to the more sensitive parts of our skin.
Knitted up Ryeland wool it gives good stitch definition, so works well with cables and textured patterns and therefore makes great Aran sweaters and cardigans.
c.50g (1.75oz) balls approximately 110 meters (119 yards) long.
